I called a surf shop so I can get the phone number for their regional manager so I can see if we can come to some sort of resolution on a matter before I take them to the Fair Trading Tribunal. The kid on the phone tells me to hold on while he finds the number and that was 17+ minutes ago. i dunno whether to hang up and try again or just wait.
when I worked at circuit city I put someone on hold and forgot about them, I went and checked about 20 or so minutes later they were still there. I hung up cause I had no excuse outside of I forgot about you

I've been on hold for no longer than twenty minutes. Twenty minutes is when I hang up. Twenty minutes is the maximum I'm willing to wait on the phone for an important call. For less important calls, the limit is considerably lower.
Just had to call the head office in another state who still couldn't get into contact with the guy I needed to speak to. They've sent him an email and he'll get back to some time.
Grrr. I was ready to sort this crap out now. So when he calls I'm gonna be all unprepared and come across like I don't know what I'm talking about.
